Completed Pre-vis & Anim Test [Week 5 of 26th Feb]

NOTE: During this week from about Wednesday the university was closed due to harsh weather conditions mainly there was just a lot of snow.

Pre-visualisation

So the pre-vis is now complete averaging at about 30 seconds in length which is almost 10 seconds less then what i originally intended, but this just due to time and not being able to access the computers at the university. I had storyboarded another 10 seconds on top, but i felt that i was'nt going to get it done in time. The reason for the ending shot was to give it the sense of 'cool' and that maybe with the idea that you don't know who wins the fight it's left up to the audience on who won.

As you could tell there is still a lot of work to be done. there some key poses that need to be changed or exaggerated. There are even parts where the arms inbetween frames would start to freak out due to changes in the transformations. also some harsh camera cuts near the end were used due to the fact of some reference i was following where the camera cut was used, however after reviewing it with my teacher this needed to be changed and i had to work more on those inbetweens.

Run animation Work in Progress

you may have noticed that in the pre-vis a character is static and sliding forward, that is supposed to be a run so here is a ruff version of the run. this has been done in a separate maya file and will be blended in Unreal 4. i just found it easier to do this run seperately as i could possibly reuse it this way in another project if i wanted to.

Progress review

Due the fact of bad weather condition the deadline for this has been pushed back by about a week. basically i will be doing a presentation towards my peers to show them how much work i have done. so i will show you the title page of this.
